What is a Silent Disruption?
"Silent Disruptions" aims to interrupt the relationship between people and technology and instead, connect individuals with the people around them through initiating honest conversations in response to thought-provoking questions.
What are Silent Disruption Walls?
Silent Disruption Walls are chalk boards located at participating schools for students to engage in meaningful conversation about one's well-being and/or to post motivational messages of support to one another anonymously. This activity helps fellow students relate to one another and allow adult allies to gain a holistic understanding of Youth Wellness.
How can my school get involved?
If interested in setting up a Happy Wall at your school. Please contact Asian Americans for Community Involvement's (AACI) Advocacy Associate, Ann Marie Tran at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone (408) 975-2730 x 425 to discuss further details. After obtaining permission from your school's administration, LEAD students will help you install a temporary Happy Wall! We would love to partner with your school to promote Youth Wellness!
